Whoever said you were too young/old to live that dream..... Curry Hammock,
       Florida Keys ....was wrong!

Hey, long time!  Letting everyone know we’re still alive.  Especially since there were tornado watches issued earlier today for central Florida.
We have spent our past few days at Cocoa Beach.  Cat is unable to leave, it has been one more day for the last week.  But we’ll be dragging out of here Monday morning.  More realistically it will be noon.
We’ve been on a bit of a hiatus from the internet, well work at least.  First off, we went on a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas.  Yes, it was a great time, we went on the Carnival Elation.  Check out www.lastminutecruises.com.

                                       There’s Cat in Nassau.

We’re considering the possibility of having the wedding/ party on a cruise so had to check it out.  I’d never been on one before.  Cat will add much more, complete with pictures.  In just over a week we plan to be back to PEI, I’ll be going lobster fishing for 2 months.  That will provide plenty of time to fill in the Florida highlights.
So the very same day we returned on the cruise ship, friends from PEI, Trevor and Kelly flew down for a week and a half.  We overdosed on theme parks while staying in Kissimmee and then retreated to Cocoa Beach.  Like most tourists, we butcher the pronunciations of many of the place names.  Hey, doesn’t Kiss-i-me sound better?  How about Okeechobee?
Well, after sailing the high seas and having company, it totally wiped us out.  And Cocoa Beach happens to be the perfect place to kick back and relax.  We thought we’d drive up to Toronto first, then PEI, but the weather and extra driving/ skyrocketting fuel prices were the deciding factors.  Sorry, but blizzards for Easter didn’t sound very appealing.
It’s my brother’s birthday today, and it was my father’s on Friday the 13th, so Happy Birthday to Dylan and Dad.  Catherine’s bday is the 20th, and she wanted to spend it in Florida, but I’m ‘mean’ so maybe we’ll be in NY by then.  I like to spread the driving over a few days, especially since I do the majority of it:-P  Time to get started. http://www.lastminutecruises.com/shapeimage_7_link_0
