Whoever said you were too young/old to live that dream..... Curry Hammock,
       Florida Keys ....was wrong!

St. Patty’s day was here and gone.  We had much drink and festivity this past week. We met up with some more young RV’ers, Kevin and Angie.  Kev spotted our rig, they had talked to Cat a few months ago on RV.net.  It’s funny, we happened to be at Camelot at the same time. It’s very refreshing to talk to like-minded people at a park, we’re all on the leading edge of technology, computer geeks for short. Kev had satellites and antennas set up, looked like he was hacking into NASA. They’ve got us beat. But overall for common interests, we feel we share this secret of living, especially having found it at this point in our lives. Don’t keep waiting til tomorrow or until you retire to do what you want, regardless what it is.
A funny side note, we were getting things cleaned up on Saturday afternoon before we went out, but in the process made an incredible mess. Cat was attempting to empty Mitts’ litterbox when she lost her balance, tripped up, and launched nasty urine soaked litter all over the kitchen floor, some even scattering onto the carpet.

                                                 Oh my gross.

Yes, the rest of the afternoon was spent in clean up mode. But after the fact we went out to the beach for some fresh air, followed by drinks over at Kev and Ang’s motorhome. Here are some pics from the night.

I should be cut off. Up to NO good.

This last one is Cat pulling up to their rig before they departed Camelot Sunday morning. The great thing about RVing, we know we’ll meet up again in the future. We were talking Montreal this summer.
There’s always small problems popping up and leaving the last site, the left rear tire on the Escalade was looking low.  Pulled into the nearest gas station and pumped it up.  It was at 45 psi when 100 is the recommended.  After another week of parking, it would appear it has a slow leak.  Fortunately we have one of those mini compressors to keep it up.  Looking at the tire, I couldn’t see any punctures.
Now the question is, can we safely make it to Indiana on this, as we’re heading to KZ central for a couple other repairs. Yep, we’re heading North after about 2 more weeks of Florida.  I picked up one of the “Inflate and Seal” type products for big tires, but haven’t used it yet.  Just thought I’d throw it out here for deliberation first, if anyone has any experience to share.  We have to thank all the people we have talked to online and in person who have helped us out on our travels.      To good times and new friends....
