Whoever said you were too young/old to live that dream..... Curry Hammock,
       Florida Keys ....was wrong!

I’m not the only bad one at updates now:P
Well, I guess that’s not entirely true. Bryan DID write the last two updates.
So where have I been? Good question!
I’ve been so wrapped up in the happenings around me, that I haven’t had the chance to even work on any sites. Bad me! I DO, however, have a line up of photos to post to showcase the last month. Sometimes pictures say it all, so I won’t make you suffer through any of my long winded posts. No one reads them anyway, especially when there are pictures to look at….haha!
Right now we’re in Ft. Myers staying at the Camping World overnight. Tomorrow we’re *finally* getting the washer and dryer installed. This should have been done a LONG time ago, but hey. I’ll appreciated it a lot more now!
We arrived here at about 9pm after leaving Koreshan State Park in Estero. I have to say, our experience there was one we will both remember….
We arrived there on Thursday after leaving the wonderful and beautiful Neapolitan Cove in Naples. Actually, since I’m behind on updates, I’d just like to say that Neapolitan Cove RV resort is just FABULOUS. Location location location! But not only that....the staff were super awesome, and the park is just BEAUTIFULLY landscaped. Take a look for yourself....!

I wish I had taken more....perhaps I have but I’d have to look through an entire hard drive, as I’ve been ‘organizing’. Check out the campground reviews for more! We really enjoyed our stay here, plus the potluck and band at their ‘temporary clubhouse’. They’ve got a sweet new clubhouse and pool lined up, and it should be functional within the year. Can’t wait to see it next year!

Anyhoo, back to Koreshan State Park!
After trying to get into our site, we realized it wasn’t going to happen….our rig was too big! Now, the site itself was big enough, but, there was no way to maneuver into it at ALL. Upon heading back and telling the rangers about this, they felt so terrible, even though it was not at all their fault. (Reseve America needs to deal with it, haha).
They were trying to make things right, seeing if they could move someone around, etc. Well, it wasn’t necessary as we had to leave for Camping World in two days, so they offered our money back and let us stay out in the ‘overflow’ parking, which was a bit of a field near the river.

It was a GREAT ’site’, I’d have to say. The view was amazing, we got perfect sunsets through the trees into our windows. It was close to everything yet secluded from everyone else. At night there were hundreds of fireflies and the stars were amazing. No power, but we had our little generator, so it all worked out nicely. We were going to leave late afternoon today for Camping World, but one of the rangers came back to invite us to the campfire/nature talk at 7pm. We could have stayed the night, but figured it would be better to leave at dark so we could be at Camping World for our 8am appointment!
So we went to the campfire, had some cookies and socialized. It was great, I am soooo glad we stayed. Learned about the Gopher Turtles and other creatures at the park….was very interesting!
In any case, our interaction with three different rangers were positive ones. Their hospitality and attitude in general was fantastic. Class Act! The park was beautiful as well, of course. We will for sure be back there again next year, there is no doubt about that….
And so I’ll leave you with some pictures from the Koreshan trail. Bryan just pointed out that in almost every recent picture on this site, I am wearing this yellow top. I’d blame it on the lack of washer/dryer problem, but that’s just totally untrue:P Fact is, this is a coincidence! A VERY strange one at that….wow….

                                                                                                          Bryan being silly:-)

            Gone off into the distance....

Charlie loved the nature trail too!

Look I’m a crocodile hunter….but with a big booty:P Can you tell the Key West style rubbed off on me a bit? And no hair extensions….what exactly is going on here….?
No one is going to recognize the bleached blonde club going city party girl when I get back to Toronto. ….and now, I’m beginning to think she didn’t exist at all….
