Whoever said you were too young/old to live that dream..... Curry Hammock,
       Florida Keys ....was wrong!

Hey, ok, let’s get on with it…  I’ve been in a rut the last week.  Arriving in Woodsmoke Camping Resort, it was a bit of a let down.  Not what I was expecting, and our site is almost on the highway.  The site layout is very strange as well, it took us a good half hour to figure out which hookups belonged to our site and to get parked.
One more thing we didn’t mention the last time, we had a nice little leak to clean up at Neopolitan Cove.  The water pump has a screw-on valve, for a filter I believe, and this was loose.  Well for quite some time, I’m talking weeks probably, water was leaking into the underside storage compartment.

I didn’t discover this until we noticed a drip from the underside.  First I thought it was from the hookups for the hose or outside shower.  Those were fine.  The dripping was further underneath.  Ok, pulled some bins out of the underside, the flooring was soaked.  We were in for a big job.  Everything out, wiped down, and sucked up all the water with the carpet cleaner/ shampoo thingy majiggy that Cat insisted we needed.  It came in handy.  Blahh… Cat was very upset.

We filled the cleaner up with two full tanks of water sucked up from the compartment.  On the bright side, we haven’t had any carpenter ants since then.  And the underside storage is now nicely organized.
The moral of the story, check your hoses boys and girls.  Earlier we had a loose pipe under the kitchen sink but I caught that before any harm was done.  In a moving vehicle, things are bound to rattle loose.  Maintenance is vital.
What a drip!
