The place is clearing out.  You’d think summer was over…  shhh!  It’s the first heavy rain we’ve had in a month.  It gets eerie when confined inside, especially when you can hear the rain dropping above your head.  And the view of mist hovering over the lake.  It’s quite the contrast to the weekend when it’s bustling with boaters.    Another downside to the rain, when it gets heavy, it downgrades our satellite signal.  What to do when it’s raining AND we can’t get online??  What did people used to do?     In another series of events, Cat adopted two new hermit crabs in a rescue operation…  just after all that effort to relocate her previous pets.  We’ll see how they enjoy their stay on the Escalade.        It’s raining, it’s pouring!
