Whoever said you were too young/old to live that dream..... Curry Hammock,
       Florida Keys ....was wrong!

….has come and gone. I think all the action is going to die down for a bit….which is good because we have a lot of organizing to do. I want to redo drawers in the kitchen and maybe a few things in the overhead cabinets. Also, the underneath storage area has become a disaster zone!
The weekend was full of stuff to do. No time for sites as I was hoping to have last week. But that’s ok, I’ll have plenty of time in PEI. I literally have to redo every site I own….update them. Fix errors, add scripts….the list goes on.
After that, I have to make a list of people to say hello to on our way down to Florida. I’ve met so many folks on the forums and so on….and I’m sure we’ll meet many more on our travels. If you want to meet up on our way down, respond to this post in case I forgot you:-)
I’ve decided also that we’re cutting it close when it comes to reservations in Florida. I want to stay at Jetty Park in Cape Canveral, Florida….preferably when there is a launch:D I should probably call right away. I’m always very specific when it comes to sites and which way they face, etc, so I’ve been using Google Earth to look up the parks I can’t find sites/site maps for. Very handy, that Google Earth!
We also have a list of things that we need to get. #1 being a special kind of patio rug for outside (apparently there are these ones that water goes right through, and are easy to clean and store….). No more shoes in my place, it’s gross. Trying to get everyone to take them off RIGHT at the door at the mat is not going so well for me, or my OCD. I’m sick of cleaning the floor every 10 min, and I’m going through Lysol like you wouldn’t believe. Bryan is wondering when I’m going to make everyone take bleach showers before entering….very funny! I just can’t stand ’street dirt’ in my place. Grass, mud from the forest, and all that is fine. What bothers me is actual city street worn shoes. Or anything worn in a public bathroom. YUCK! It completely freaks me out and makes me nuts! So a patio mat, shoe rug, stair wrap around rugs and a tub of bleach should be good. Ok, fine, scratch the last one!!!!
After that, we need a surge protector. Then a washer/dryer, second A/C and a generator. We’re taking my parents old boating generator for now, so we’ll see how that works out. The list goes on and on, and keeps changing….but those are the important ones for now. Oh yeah, and a new sewer hose too. Ours has been run over at least 10 times already….we needed a better quality one anyhoo:P
Another update with pictures is coming shortly. Gotta upload all the pictures still! I’ll also try to take one of my new hair. I finally put my hair extensions in….actually, Bryan did most of them. I can’t see the back of my head like I used to in the condo, with multiple mirrors. After his ‘training’ he did a wonderful job….surprisingly well for a guy;-) Another reason why Bryan rocks….he does my hair. By the end of it, he was a pro and actually getting really ‘into it’. HAHA! I should have taken a picture of it all the way down to my butt, but we’ve cut it since then. By ‘we’ I mean Bryan. He fought me for the scissors….no joke. My parents were in stitches over him putting the extensions in, as were the few people walking by our site, I am sure….lol! What was even more hilarious was his put on gay accent while doing it….oh my gosh! Another thing for his parents to be proud of….from lobster fisherman to sexy metrosexual hair extentionist. Warning: That’s what CAN happen if you date a city girl!
:D
More to come….
P.S. Some of you have asked about web hosting and design. If you’re interested, please send me an email: Cat at foreveryoungrv dot com. I can set you up with a domain name, hosting, and a site/blog for a very good price. I wish I had a few more examples, but you’ll see the final outcome of ForeverYoung.com soon. It needs to be completed already!
Another busy weekend
