Updates…
In PEI at last, it was a very rushed trip, but we survived.  After our stint at Leisure time, we pulled up in Kingston on a sad note.  My great Aunt passed away and we stopped in to give our regards to the Saul family.  There were lots of memories to share and stories to tell, some of which I’ll be able to use against my parents;-) Stopping in Kingston we happened upon Rideau Acres, which Cat described as a real gem.  The timing was impeccable as we were there for their Thanksgiving potluck.  I whipped up some cookies, and they went quick!  There was so much good food, Cat took in her first potluck.  The campground had a great location on the Rideau river (canal) and there were lots of exotic birds including peacocks all over the grounds.  The baby peacock was very friendly, thought he was human.  Caught it on video pecking at my shoelace.  Cat snapped lots of pictures.

Next we were on to Smiths Falls for some service…   the A/C unit needs to be replaced, it had been under filled with Freon… doh!  Well it would take a week to have a unit ordered in, so we have to arrange for that elsewhere.  Now this began the long drive.  First we found ourselves off target to reach the 401, so OnStar to the rescue.  Well, we went through the most back-route, turn laden country road complete with single lane bridges.  Thank goodness no low bridges, but sure enough we found one later!
Made it to the 401, everything and everyone in tact, destination: Montreal.  Off to the races, set up camp at the KOA just outside Montreal.  The only problems we ran into here were technical, had some difficulty getting the satellite connected.  Okay, there’s lots more to share, I’m just plain exhausted right now so we’ll make this the first part in the series.  More to follow.     2500 km later....
