Whoever said you were too young/old to live that dream..... Curry Hammock,
       Florida Keys ....was wrong!

I haven’t updated for some time….this is due to the unpacking madness that has been taking place for the last three days! The Escalade is a mess right now….and we’re both so tired. Of everything we originally packed to come along, about half has gone back to storage. There is either no room, or no use for it. For those who know me, I am obsessed with ‘lights’. I have all sorts of funky ones….most of them I cannot bring, nor do I need to bring unfortunatly. The ‘infinity’ lighting on the unit is enough, and it’s BEAUTIFUL. I wouldn’t want to spoil it with anything else. This seems to be a common theme. We don’t want to touch or move anything, because it’s put together so perfectly by KZ….everything matches and works out. We are very pleased!
We’ve also been pleasantly surprised with all the ‘bells and whistles’ this unit has to offer, as well as the options we put on it. Some of them we just LOVE are:
-Infinity lighting….at night this place looks even MORE luxurious with them on….and they have a dimmer!
- The super smart awning! It’s automatic….you can set the wind speed and it auto retracts at low, medium, or high. Super handy, as we left for the storage place in Milton not knowing a storm would hit. When we came back, the awning was in! Hooray! Not to mention, it seems to have an auto ‘water dump’. Wow!
- Self adjusting rear stabilizers. I didn’t even know it had this! When we move about inside, the stabilizers auto adjust to compensate!
- The entertainment center. Nevermind the surround sound, but also, the 2007 version of the Escalade has both TVs at a bigger size! In the living room 27, and the bedroom 19!
- The two ‘Fantastic Fans’. We don’t even need the AC on a lot of the time. These fans are amazing, and when you put them on AUTO, they open and close and adjust the airflow and speed to match your settings. And if it rains? No problem….they have sensors that have them automatically close at the first sign of precipitation.
- I can’t forget the fireplace!
There is so much more, like the raising coffee table, hydrolic bed lift with storage underneath, center island in the kitchen, outdoor shower, awesome rocking leather lazy-boys, smoked glass sliding doors separating the bathroom from the bedroom, the massive skylight over the shower (gorgeous doors too!), cedar wood closets, day/night shades and a plethora of windows that face every direction no matter which way you park!
I would say I am in love with this, but I am not the only one. Bryan has told me several times now: “Good choice, thank you!”
I can always seek out the best of the best, and I’ve really done it this time:-) I am sure my parents will also thank me, since I convinced them to go with the maple wood. It’s BEAUTIFUL….light and spacious!
*pats self on back*
Alright, I’m done with that now….and here are some pictures! MORE of them, hooray! Haha:D
Keep in mind, the wood here looks almost orange, but it’s the evening sunlight making everything glow.
The wood is actually a very pale maple!

Just brought outside at the dealer….

My ‘tired’ pose after standing in the heat while my mother tried to work the camera….haha!

Bryan still freaking about the size, but super happy. And no, we could not fit the whole thing in the picture....darned fence;-)

Bryan, getting the hitch on!

My mom and Bryan, getting ready for dinner after the first drive and park!

Ugh, get the junk out of the window!

Now we can eat and watch the sunset.

My cabana fabric….lucky we got it on the 2007 because it’s no longer available!

Sit down here, and you don’t get back up….

So pretty….

A video of our first drive!
 We love you, Mr. Escalade!
